LAUNCH EVENT 2024
On October 15th, 2024 Amazon hosted a two day private press and influencer event at The Shed in New York to announce an exciting new lineup of Kindle products, including the highly anticipated Kindle Colorsoft. The press event was followed by the launch of a global digital campaign across social channels and amazon.com.
My role in this event was lead creative director across experiential, digital and e-commerce touch points.
THE CONCEPT

Kindle is born from a deep love of books—of reading, writing, and the pursuit of something better. This passion is rooted in Amazon’s beginning as a bookseller, and is infused every detail of the reading and writing products we create. To unveil the next chapter we crafted a celebration of the love that shapes Kindle and transforms the way we read, write, and dream.
“For the love of kindle” is a creative expression of the Kindle experience come to life. Each detail designed to make guests feel the way they did when they first picked up a Kindle. Warm, comfortable, and inspired—the perfect sanctuary to curl up with your favorite book.

The event was hosted at The Shed in New York City, a venue known for it’s sleek architectural design and wall-to-wall windows that flood the space with natural light..
At checkin guests are greeted by giant screens displaying black and white text animating the event tagline. The graphics are designed to simulate the experience of reading and writing text on a Kindle. The result is humble, captivating, and incredibly charming—just like Kindle.
Once Kindle Colorsoft was announced, we flooded the space with colored light and vibrant graphics to bring the Colorsoft brand identity to life.
